GRENADA CRUISE: Cabin Boy’s Lament

Tuesday, 05 April 2011 00:00 Written by Charles Doane

Daniel Lapidow

Dateline: St. George's, Grenada (guest post courtesy of Daniel Lapidow, crew and blacksmith aboard charter vessel Tiando)

When dad asked if I’d like to miss school for a week and go sailing, I of course said yes. Now I am on a boat with a fat Jew, a power Nazi, and a failed murderer.

I am enjoying the sailing, the food, the drunk singing, and sleeping under the stars. I feel bad for the poor kids stuck in school, but that’s what they get for not having a friend with a sailboat.
